The Altra Superior 6 is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a natural-feeling, lightweight trail running shoe. Balanced Cushioning positions the heel and forefoot an equal distance from the ground for optimal form and alignment while FootShape technology allows your foot to spread naturally in the shoe. The Superior 6 utilizes a layer of Altra’s Quantic foam in the midsole and no rock plate underneath. This lightweight foam combined with the super grippy MaxTrac outsole offers plenty of protection on the trails while allowing you to stay light on your feet. This lightweight cushioning and the absence of a rock plate allow you to maneuver uneven terrain with ease.
